  16. I've been considering a high-quality 28.8 modem for personal use, and
  17. had planned on a Telebit Teleblazer since I use a Worldblazer now with 
  18. generally good results.  However, trying to find someone to sell a 
  19. Telebit to an individual was surprisingly hard -- you won't see them 
  20. listed in the index of "Computer Shopper" at all!

  22. I finally found someone that'll sell me one, but given how hard it was, 
  23. I've gotten cold feet.  So: is Telebit giving up on modems to sell only
  24. netblazers and overpriced isdn stuff?  Are they still any good?  Are
  25. there better choices for good, commercial-quality standalone 28.8 modems
  26. for under $500?

  28. (I'm not interested in a glue-n-go specials or cheap junk.  I'm certainly
  29. not interested in usr for any reason at any price.)
